Daleville Food Lion opens August 19

All week the Roanoke Road has been full of construction of turn lanes in front of the new Food Lion in Daleville. The store is located on the Ntelos side of US 220 north and directly across from the Daleville Town Center. Here's the scoop! The Chamber of Commerce will hold an After Hours event there on Tuesday, August 18 from 5p.m.- 7 p.m. which is a members only event. The store will officially open for business on Wednesday August 19! So when the kids clamber up the steps of the school bus on the first day of school, hop in the car and drive over to the opening!

Calvin Walters who is currently manager of the Salem Food Lion is the store manager for the new Daleville store and when spoken to by phone, he said is excited about theĀ  new store!
