Denise Sprinkle named Educator of the Year by Botetourt Kiwanis
Denise Sprinkle is a hard working teacher who has taught 31 years in Botetourt County. She teaches at Central Academy Middle School. On Thursday night September 10, she was recognized by the Botetourt Kiwanis Club as their Educator of the Year. Sprinkle a life long Fincastle resident, was picked by an impartial panel of judges, noted Kiwanis president Clarence Renshaw.
He and two other Kiwanians, Cary Dudley and Jim Bushong, made the presentation to Sprinkle at the school Board meeting. Each Botetourt County School submitted an entry and Sprinkle was chosen on the merit of her ability.

Congratulations Denise. My son was in her class while at CAMS. She did an excellent job teaching him. The recognization was much deserved.
