First deer kill a big one for local young fellow
Jared Hayes and his first buck!
Jared Hayes, 12, of Fincastle killed his first deer, a seven point buck, using a .30-.30 rifle. He was hunting with his father, Darin Hayes, on Youth Hunt Day. He killed the deer on private land in Fincastle.
