Breckinridge Elementary holds SCA election

Breckinridge Elementary recently held an election to determine the president of the student body.  The fifth-grade candidates were:  Kasey Tolley and Eva Grumbine, from Mrs. Robinson's room; Jasmine King and Taylore Sydnor from Ms. Scott's room.  The four candidates created campaign posters that were displayed around the school.  Each was also charged with the task of creating a platform that consisted of three parts:  an idea to involve our students in improving our school, an idea to involve our school in bettering our community, and an idea allowing our student body to just have fun.  All Breckinridge students met in the gym to hear the candidates' speeches and then returned to their classrooms to cast their votes.  When all votes were tallied, Eva Grumbine was selected as Breckinridge's SCA President.  The four girls will now work together to put Eva's platform ideas into action.

  1. These girls are great . I think Eva Grumbine will make a great prezident. The other girls Kasey, Taylor, and Jazmin will make awesom officers. Go EVA GRUMBINE.
