The annual Young Life Banquet will take place on November 10. The banquet serves to inform the community and also to raise funds to continue the worthy youth ministry. Dinner will be served that night starting 7:00 p.m. If you are interested in attending please call Dave Harris at 525-1395. Further information on the banquet can be found on the Young Life website at botetourt.younglife.org.
For the past two months Young Life serving Lord Botetourt students has been meeting in the red training building of the Troutville Fire Department on the hill above the fire station. "We would like to thank the Troutville Fire Department for providing us with a facility to meet every week. It is an environment that has been adaptable to our changing needs, and could not have been given to us at a better time," said Colt Emswiler a Young Life staffer for Botetourt County. The building opened up just in time for Young Life to start meeting there this year, and they will continue to meet there the rest of the semester.

Approximately 60-70 young people come to Troutville every Monday at 7:34 p.m. The Young Life group from James River has between 45 to 50 that meet each week. They meet at the Bank of Botetourt in Buchanan on Monday nights as well. James River Young Life has met there for the past three years and would like to thank the Bank for their continued support.
