Photo: Food Lion and Greenfield Elementary recognize students
Greenfield Elementary and the Daleville Food Lion are cooperating to introduce a new student recognition opportunity called the Student of the Month program. Each week in every classroom at Greenfield, one student is named Student of the Week. Teachers post the child's photo including interests and hobbies on a bulletin board in the school's cafeteria. Once a month a random drawing takes place, and previous Students of the Week receive the chance to earn Student of the Month for the entire school. Food Lion has generously donated a free cake and a $10 gift card to each Student of the Month from Greenfield.
