Photos: Blacksburg softball players go to prom

Barbara Shaver of Blacksburg shares these three delightful photos of some Blacksburg High School softball players going to prom.

You can view them in the slideshow above or in this more traditional gallery format.

Either way, here's what you'll see:
* Left to right Allie Cohill, catcher, Rachael Shrader, short stop, Kelly Shaver, first base -- all suited up for prom -- in gowns, and softball gear.
* Bruins softball player Kelly Shaver and her date Bruins baseball player Justin Bishop

And most delightful of all:
* Little brother Kevin Shaver gets a quick kiss from the girls on their way to prom.

Do you have photos involving people or events around the New River Valley? If so, you can share at newriver@roanoke.com just like Barbara did.
