Photos from storm over Riner

Kevin Light of Riner shares these two photos of the storm that moved through on Thursday.

Do you have photos involving people or events around the New River Valley? If so, you can share at newriver@roanoke.com just like Kevin did.

  1. Rainy? Not here. The overall April-June period has come out about average here in Wytheville. April was dry, May was normal and June has been wet. The winter was a bit dry, so I'll take a lot more. Keep it coming.

    April 2.18
    May 4.60
    June 3.00 so far.

  2. Those clouds must have risen from nearby Radford University.

What an awful soup of elements have combined there move a fine regional university to an evolving joke. What a plight for this fine university to be led by an incompetent president and administration stoked to depths of administrative failure by a board of visitors so incompetent that it is actually rewarding the foolishness this gang of academic usurpers.
