Diane Yopp submitted this photo of the Auburn High School class of 1964 reunion. The reunion was held Oct. 3 at the Riner Fire Station. Yopp said "We get together each year and have a wonderful time of fellowship."

Weekly update from Shawsville Farmers Market

Come join us for Halloween at the Shawsville Farmers Market this Saturday from 9am-noon in front of Meadowbrook.

Be sure to stop by with your little ghosts and goblins to trick-or-treat at each vendor's booth! Also, Meadowbrook Library is hosting trick-or-treaters from 10am-4:30.

Duck Pond outing for agency on aging

These photos were submitted by Angela Overstreet of Chrisitansburg. The New River Valley Agency on Aging in Radford recently had an outing at the Duck Pond on Virginia Tech's campus.

Alfonzo Walker caught a fish at the Duck Pond.  Walker is pictured with  Nellie Algerbright, Mary Linkous and Virginia Tech Coach Frank Beamer. Beamer is also pictured with Lorriane GravesJoanne Kinder and  Joyce Ricky.
