The Eagles to play Charlottesville

May 21 at John Paul Jones Arena. Tix go on sale 10 a.m. Friday, April 4.

THE EAGLES “LONG ROAD OUT OF EDEN WORLD TOUR” TO LAND AT JOHN PAUL JONES ARENA ON MAY 21

TICKETS ON SALE, Fri. April 4 at 10 A.M.

Charlottesville, Mar.7 - Following the success of their No. 1 album, Long Road Out of Eden, the Eagles will perform live at the John Paul Jones Arena on May 21. The band - Glenn Frey, Don Henley, Joe Walsh and Timothy B. Schmit - will be performing current hits from Long Road Out of Eden including “How Long" and “Busy Being Fabulous,” as well as their classic songs.

Tickets for the concert will go on sale Friday, April 4 at 10:00 a.m. Tickets will be available at the arena Box Office, www.johnpauljonesarena.com, 1-888-JPJ-TIXS and select Plan 9 locations.

The Eagles won the 2008 Grammy Award for Best Country Performance By A Duo Or Group With Vocals for "How Long." The band has been nominated for an Academy of Country Music award for Vocal Group of the Year, which will be broadcast May 18th on CBS, as well as for “Wide Open Country Video Of The Year” in the upcoming CMT Awards on April 14th.
