Outta here for the week

I'm going to Tennessee, and I won't be back till Dec. 1.

November has been a busy month for live music and for stories. In all the hubbub, I missed a few things. Here are some.

Poe Mack has a new CD. Thanks for bringing it by, Poe -- I promise to check it out asap.

Jeff Hofmann, a very good bassist, has two things: A new My Radio disc, and something for his kid-music project, Einstein's Monkey.

And there's a ton of other cool stuff happening around here, but I'm out of time. Go hear live music. Meanwhile, I'm headed down to the Mike show.

Happy Thanksgiving!

About this blog

cutNscratch is The Roanoke Times music blog. Music reporter Tad Dickens enjoys pickin' and grinnin' and drummin', and he likes to write about music, too. He'll post plenty about local, regional and national music, but it won't be any fun at all if you don't jump in and have your say. So do it! | Read more about Tad.
