The Sword's J.D. Cronise talks to The Onion A.V. Club

Go to the story, here, to see what led Cronise, a former Cave Spring guy, to say this:

Cronise and fellow ex-Cave Springer Trivett Wingo are preparing with their Austin, Texas,-based band, The Sword, to hit the road again with Metallica.

  1. wow, i didn't realize they went to Cave Spring! the sword is an amazing band who has definitely seen some success thanks to a few lucky breaks, but the songwriting is solid and they deserve the recognition. good to see virginia-to-austin transplants making it happen....hopefully i can follow in their footsteps!
