WJJS-FM takes on syndicated morning show
Clear Channel's Dave Carwile called earlier today to say that syndicated Elvis Duran will get the WJJS's a.m. slot. The morning team of Styles and Nikki will remain at the station, possibly moved to a new shift, Carwile, the Roanoke-Lynchburg market manager, said.
"The main thing is they still have jobs," he said.

Tad-speaking of local radio news, anything ever come out of that email I received from WNRN? Just curious...Jay

I'm working on that, Jay. But I think it's going to be good news.

Probably a good thing...don't think they had the morning DJ energy going yet. I'll listen to the station at other times, but started passing it by during my morning scan.

Update from Carwile: Styles and Nikki are now in JJS's 3 p.m.-7 p.m. slot. Former afternoon man Cisco has moved to afternoons on WROV-FM.
