Taubman Museum battle of the bands offers $1,000 prize
If you want to compete, registration deadline is July 10, according to the Taubman's Phil Norman.
The battle itself is set for Aug. 1, noon-midnight, on Norfolk Avenue, behind the museum. Up to 20 bands will compete, judged on musicianship, stage presence, originality and crowd excitement level.
