Show review: Staind, Shinedown, Chevelle and Halestorm in Roanoke

This show was part of what Staind frontman Aaron Lewis billed the "Stimulate This!" tour. So the show must stand up to this question: Was it worth the money for hard rock fans? With ticket prices of $44.50, $39.75 and $22, it came out to no more than about $12 per band, before service charges.

Judging from the effort the bands put out and the crowd reactions, paying customers got their money's worth. Service fees, of course, are another story for another time.

Here's the print review.

  1. i was very impressed by the show and in comparision to the last big rock show in town (3 doors down) you could see a completely different vibe with the bands on stage, specifically with the crowd involvement. when brent from shinedown tells the audience he appreciates them, he means it.
