My Radio: Soundtrack to Lebron and Shaq
At the old cutnscratch deadwood column today, I write about My Radio's deal with Ocean Park Music Group and the band's deal to get a song on Cleveland Cavalier televised halftime highlight reels. Here's the song the band licensed to Fox Sports Ohio, "Yeah, Yeah, Yeah."







"We're not going to drive around in a van for 25 shows a month, hoping that we'll break," he said. "This is a way to get exposure and pay for what you're doing."

A practical and sensible approach for getting your music to the masses, especially for people who don't have the means to up and leave day jobs, families, responsibilites, etc.
Doing the van thing can be fun, but can also be really hit or miss and put a strain on band relations at times.
Catchy song,by the way.
