UVa's Parr to undergo surgery
Virginia announced in its injury report Monday night that redshirt freshman defensive lineman Zane Parr will undergo cartilage surgery that will cause him to miss at least one game. Parr was a regular on Virginia's nickel defense until recently.
Zane who?
I think that's the reaction of a lot of UVa fans.
Like a lot of people, I have to look at virginiasports.com to read up on Zane Parr, and I follow UVa pretty closely.
It says Parr was "rated the No. 73 defensive tackle in the nation by Scout ... listed as the No. 39 player in Pennsylvania by Keystone Recruiting and 55th by Scout."
Only time will tell!
