Cavs hold out Sene
Virginia announced prior to its men's basketball opener with VMI that freshman post player Assane Sene is being held out of action while an issue concerning his eligibility is resolved.
Sene, from St. Louis, Senegal, spent the 2007-2008 school year at South Kent (Conn.) Prep.
"Because of a recent NCAA interpretation, there are some aspects of Assane's enrollment that must be reviewed further," UVa athletic director Craig Littlepage said in a prepared statement. "We're looking to have this resolved quickly."

What does this mean? You mean an interpretation that occured 2 days before the game? How come this interpretation didn't take place 3 months-ago? 8 months-ago? Haha.
