Tech-UVa game time

The ACC's television partners have requested a six-day option on the Nov. 29 football game in Blacksburg between Virginia and Virginia Tech. Kickoff will be at either noon or 3:30 p.m. and be televised by either ABC, ESPN, ESPN2, Raycom or ESPNU. The game time will be determined after this Saturday's game and will be announced by Sunday at the latest.

  1. Somebody or bodies in TV world likes Virginia Tech and we Hokies should be thankful. ESPN Thursday night games are special and not easy to come by, but we are on there regularly. Winning these games would greatly help VT in all ways. As a VT fan for over 40 years I am absolutely amazed at the large number of new fans that we have pulling for the Hokies, many of them are grade school children. Almost all of these new fans did not that Tech even existed a few years ago. Now they know of Tech and support Tech by wearing Tech clothes and caps all of the time in public. This is in large part to being on TV so often. Hopefully it will continue. Thank you to whoever it is that helps the Hokies get on TV so often Go Hokies!!!

  2. time to say it, but nine years ago, groh promised the uva faithful and school officals a notional championship. well he has been given everthing he has needed to do this. and has not came through. not even a divivson or acc title. poor old george hit the same wall and he was benched. IT IS TIME FOR UVa TO GET SERIOUS ABOUT FOOTBALL, OR GET OUT OF THE PROGRAM.
SHAMEFUL, BUT, IT IS TIME FOR GROH TO GO.
