UVa lacrosse co-captain found dead
Former Virginia lacrosse player Will Barrow died Saturday, Mike Colley of the UVa sports media relations department confirmed Sunday on football coach Al Groh's conference call with reporters.
Barrow was found Saturday morning at his Charlottesville apartment, according to Charlottesville TV station Channel 29. On its website, Channel 29 said police are conducting an investigation but do not believe foul play was involved.
Barrow, co-captain of the 2008 UVa men's lacrosse team that reached the NCAA semifinals, was the 11th player selected in the Major League Lacrosse draft.
