Ole Orrie is very concerned about the " U ." Whose running this outfit ? Big Al is hanging on and Coach Dave by a thread as well ...Fellow ACC brethern are passing this sibling by and they ( both programs ) are grasping for anything and everything to get themselves back to some level of consistency .
I think Dave has some nice young players to work with over the next couple of years, but until he finds a true 2 gaurd his offense will go nowhere. It's no coincidence that he guided UVA to the NCAA's with JR and Sean. I just don't see that consistent scorer that you can count on night after night, but I could be wrong. JR didn't truly shine until mid way through his junior year so there's time for Mustapha and J. Jones to get it together.
However, the football team has always been an offense away from winning a championship. I'm a bit cautious still, but Brandon's system should at least be better than 90 something in the rankings and he has some good young proven talent to work with. With Sewell coming back I think 8/9 wins is very plausible and in a very muddled ACC could be enough to get into the BCS game. So in short I think the team with the easiest route to a championship is the football program and the one with the best shot.
