Cavs get commitment

More than 20 years after Virginia finished second on the greatest player to come out of the Nichols School, Christian Laettner, the Cavaliers received a player to be named later in 6-8, 215-pound Will Regan.

Chris Wallace of cavscorner.com quoted Regan's father, Larry, as confirming his son's commitment to new Virginia coach Tony Bennett.

Regan, who averaged 24 points and 14 rebounds as a junior, picked the Cavaliers over Stanford, Maryland, Arizona State and Providence.

  2. Every football or basketball player UVa gets, fans think is a good prospect. Then when UVa's 3-star recruits can't beat North Carolina's 5 star-recruits, it's because the "refs favor North Carolina." LOL.

(With all respect to Orrie, whose posts I like, this has nothing to do with what Orrie said. I was going to post this even if there was no previous comment on here.)
