  1. Are the odds makers nuts! It's BC! Don't like the #5 ranking!!!!!! Too soon! At least we are home.

  2. yeah 12 points against bc...if i was in vegas id put money on bc just on the spread, tech has lost 3 straight reg season games against these guys despite having way more gifted athletes. reminds me of tech's somewhat psychological fear of sec teams, when bc is tech's opponent, dont know why..well at least tech beats them in the acc champ game every year...

  3. 12 seems like a lot to cover. But, I think that the homefield advantage is 6 for Lane Stadium. 7 or 8 seems more reasonable.

  4. "Wake Forest -11.5 over Maryland; and Florida State -4.5 over Georgia Tech"?

Hmm. I predict that Maryland will beat Wake Forest, and I definitely see Georgia Tech beating Florida State!

  5. Asking permission from the Kings of Blacksburg: Anthony Poindexter's jersey is being retired this coming Saturday before UVA's "Homecoming Game." He had 19 tackles in games -- TWICE (one against the Hokies, but please don't get riled at that, he didn't mean it I'm sure). Lots more on his resume' than that. I know we're beneath the dung heap football-wise, but perhaps the great ones might be willing to let some of the press in the Commonwealth give a quiet notice about Poindexter being recognized this weekend. Pretty please Frank? Just a little taste of some press for Poindexter?

  6. theo '85, maybe you should subscribe to the hoo rag in Cville if you want to read about the local team , the Roanoke " local " team is the Hokies !! not the looser hoos. Bettter yet, move to hooville if you really want to be close to the hoos.
