Jackets score again
Mark Berman back in Atlanta where Nesbitt has sealed the win with a 39-yard TD run to extend the GTĀ lead to 28-16 with 3 minutes to go.
Say goodbye to the top 5, Hokies. Say goodbye to a shot at the BCS title game. Say goodbye to watching the BCS standings Sunday and seeing VT at No. 3. Say goodbye to first place in the ACC (Al Groh is in first place - yes, at least for the next week. GT visits UVa next Sat).

Tech really played a terrible game. They looked woefully unprepared on both sides of the ball. The offensive line was painfully bad. What was the coaching staff doing all this week?

Chokies,Chokies Chokies. I think they left the defense in Blacksburg. This is the same old thing that happens each time we get in the top 5. I love the way the offense can easily score when there is almost no chance of winning. I am really sick of getting my hopes and dreams crushed by this team.

When UVa plays Georgia Tech here next Saturday, that'll be a game that will mean something! I don't agree with talk shows that say there are cities where the fans are "good" or "bad: football fans are the same everywhere. If you football fans games that "mean something," they will show up! I have a feeling the crowd will be there early and the stadium will be packed! Go Hoos!

Takes a lot of luck to get to the big game. Now winning the ACC is the goal. I'm thinking if VT, GT, and Miami finish in a 3-way and none of those teams lose again, VT will be in because they beat Miami, who will likely be ranked higher than GT.

118 years of football and not one national title! Why do I get heartbroken so much I don't know but I do! If it's the offense one half then it's the defense the second half that loses the games! GT has not even have an ounce of talent level compareable to tech! I hate seeing vt choke every year at the hint of bcs title contender! But that's what they do choke! I still love them the same but it is so disheartening the way they handle pressure! If foster's recruiting has taken a dive which this year looks like it then just watch how tech falls back into such a mediocre team! I believe this is techs plateauing and a return to lower tier status is underway. Maybe it's for the better bc then there will be no expectation. I'll still love tech the same, but at least i won't be pretending to think tech might one day when the big game, and no it's not the acc title game. That's about as worthless as a title game there is right now...

and now UVA controls the coastal division!!!what a joke!! tech needs to replace stiney! 8 years is long enough to keep wasting NFL talent!! And if all Beamer wants to do is win 10 games a year and the acc every year then please retire and give bud the keys to the team!!!10 wins a year against the likes of duke, Maryland, UVA, unc, marshall, isn't really legit anyways! Just padding the stats!

Well Tech believed the talking heads & newspapers about how great they were. Offense was inconsistent and the defense was exposed for what it is, average. Johnson outcoached the Tech staff like college vs. high school. Foster had to know that Johnson was going to make adjustments and didn't do anything different to compensate. Offense inside the 40 4 times in the first half for 3 points. Tech's coaches can't seem to get them to show up every Saturday. Out of the top ten the rest of the year and non BCS bowl. Oh well, there's always next year.
