04OCT08--Scavenging Materials

100_4213.JPG
In building our team’s patrol base, we have looked high and low for readily accessible building materials. Recently, we went to pick up a load of plywood. The following pictures depict the events.

Sergeant First Class Kevin “KC” Connaughton of Sulfur Springs, Texas (far left) would have sworn that a wild orangutan just ran behind him, leaped and jumped onto the truck. But that would just be crazy.

After later questioning, Captain Aaron “Old Man” Wentworth of Michigan said, “I just felt like climbing.”

Believing that no one is watching and the coast is clear, Captain Raymond Dresch of Tampa, Florida uses his telekinetic powers to load wood into the truck. Unbeknownst to Ray, Lieutenant Jeremy “Jay” Alaniz of San Antonio, Texas watches in awe. Don't try this at home, Jay!

  1. This brings to mind the building materials that we had to work with. Non standard 2"x 4"s and formaldahyde laden plywood. Regarding the primative plumbing, burnouts are the pits.
