Recent Pictures: Stampede and New Iraqi Commander

Below are recent pictures.  A stampede of sheep on the roadway and meeting the new Iraqi Brigade Commander.

A different meaning to the phrase 'Share the Road.' Shepards using the roadways alongside vehicles is common.

The view or lack thereof of the road. The sheep do not seem bothered, and one actually gets used to driving like this.

Major Brott of Texas activates his x-ray vision to evaluate the contents of the new Iraqi brigade commander's desk. "All Clear!"

Goldfish. They may be the 'Snack that Smiles Back,' but all Sergeant Colon of Puerto Rico (left) knows is that those fish can scream "HELP!" while both smiling and freefalling toward's the mouth of Lieutenant Jay Alaniz of Texas (right).

Captain Raymond Dresch of Florida (right) offers, "For a taste of your refreshing water, I will dance a jig. What do you say, Rich [Connaroe

  2. Rubicon,

The shirt that Sergeant Colon is pictured wearing is called an Army Combat Shirt (ACS). I do not know if they are available for sale. These are a new clothing item that the Army issued us here in Iraq. Actually, the ones that we have were the first attempt. The stage two shirts should be coming out soon. The stage one shirts rip easily, but as long as you are careful, they are quality shirts and much cooler to wear under body armor.
