Notes from Iraq

12FEB09--Walk through Village (Pictures)

Today, the team went through a walk (dismounted patrol) through an Iraqi village.  We visited several businesses that I had interviewed yesterday.  Allow me to share several scenes.

This is the tailor that I interviewed yesterday. We actually got to talk to her today, as no men were at her shop to talk for her. She was very nice.

We saw a lot of donkeys tied down to the ground by one leg, but we did see a few stables like this one.

A view of the village. Notice the women who just finished hanging clothes out on the line.

This scene made me think about my own kids for a moment. My daughter is nearly the same age.
