New River Valley goes strong for Deeds

The New River Valley joined most of the rest of Virginia on Tuesday, delivering big margins for Creigh Deeds in the Democratic primary for governor.

Montgomery County:
Deeds 71 percent, McAuliffe 16 percent, Moran 13 percent.

Radford:
Deeds 74 percent, McAuliffe 19 percent, Moran 7 percent.

Pulaski County:
Deeds 72 percent, McAuliffe 20 percent, Moran 8 percent

Floyd County:
Deeds 68 percent, McAuliffe 18 percent, Moran 15 percent

Giles County:
Deeds 74 percent, McAuliffe 18 percent, Moran 9 percent

(Note: Some numbers may not add up to 100 percent due to rounding)
