Photo of massive black bear in Pulaski County
Over on outdoor writer Mark Taylor's Wild Life blog, he has a photo of what he calls a "massive" black bear from Pulaski County.
The bruin weighed in at 468 pounds. Terry Hale Jr. shot it last year, after it ran amok on his land.

So sad to see people killing the native wild life just for the sake of killing. It may have run amok, as bears will do, but the article nor the man said it caused any damage or harm to anyone or anything. Shameful killing- go live in the city!

Your headline was very misleading. It should have read "Photo of DEAD Massive Black Bear in Pulaski County. Had I known it was just a trophy shot, I would not have clicked on the story.
