New River Notebook

Tonight's football forecast

No matter which game you're going to tonight, take your ponchos. Here's what weather journalist Kevin Myatt advises:

You will probably get wet tonight, and a rumble of thunder isn't out of the question. It won't be that cold, though, with temperatures in the upper 50s and low to mid 60s. Saturday looks soggy until about early afternoon, too.

For more weather news, see Kevin's Weather Journal blog.

And, as always, if you're going to a game this weekend, you can share photos at newriver@roanoke.com and we'll show 'em off on the Community Current, our site for reader-submitted news and photos.
