Breaking news from The Roanoke Times

Blowing bubbles

At 10:15 p.m., members of Glade Church in Blacksburg, who had staffed the Memorial Chapel all day, were closing the doors. They have given away 1,000 tiny bottles of bubbles. They were inspired by an unknown man, who for a week after last year’s shootings, sat near the chapel blowing bubbles.

  1. I was there at the Chapel, and left just before it closed (according to the article). After attending many activities of the day and the evening Candlelight vigil, I sat in the Chapel and meditated. I prayed for the families and my own family. I wept for those involved in my own personal tragedy ensuing after the VT Tragedy. I prayed that GOD would use me to help send REVIVAL. I finished writing a poem about my experience during the day and how we need to move from 32 to 33 to help truly prevail. I posted this on the website I've established(www.vtlessonstolearn.com)before the night was out. I was able to share this same message with Governor Kaine earlier in the day.
