Heritage Baptist Church's website appears to be temporarily down for many users. We've embedded their live stream of Heidi Childs' and David Metzler's funerals here on The Roanoke Times' breaking news blog as a service for those who were unable to access the church's site.

Dear GOD! What strange scripture passage to use at a funeral.
What a great way to turn the young people completely OFF to organized religion. Bore them by repeating an obscure Biblical name over and over and over and expect them to understand why two young people were senselessly killed.
BOYS AND GIRLS....CAN YOU SAY MASHIBASHETH? I CAN; ABOUT A HUNDRED TIMES! Are you impressed?
And by the way, if you're going to use the French expression "coup d'etat" in your sermon, it's not koo day TOT....it's koo day tah. The T is silent. Good grief, such pretentiousness.
