Readership increase noted

Editor & Publisher posted a story this week listing the "top 25 newspapers with the largest increases in print and online audience based on designated market areas."

The Roanoke Times ranked in the Top 10 with a 6.3 percent increase. Check out the details here.

    said the 10th biggest increase in circulation was .39% The RT did not make this list of 10 biggest increases in circulation so they were obviously below the .39% number.

    Thanks for the comment. Your comment linked to a story based on print circulation only. My post was about combined print and online audience. And on that list, The Roanoke Times is in the Top 10.

  4. I was surprised to hear that you're still publishing a print edition. I like the website; it's cheaper, and more in line with the value of your content.

  5. OK, congrats. I responded. I canceled my subscribtion because RT could not get my morning paper to my house before 7:30. Being 50+ I prefer to hold a paper, but your fancy press and new management killed that.
    I still read online, but I depend on other sources also. As soon as one of the TV sites get a website of quality to compete with yours....goodbye.
