Salem boxing card set
An eight-bout card is all set for this Aug. 9 at Salem Civic Center. Andrew Farmer and Jaywon Woods will be fighting in the co-main events.
Farmer (10-1) of Front Royal, Va., takes on Cesar Vega (10-14) of Louisville, Ky., in a eight-round junior welterweight bout. Woods (7-0) of Danville takes on Terry Roy (7-0) of Front Royal in a six-round cruiserweight bout.
Roanoke's Charles Norwood has been taken off the card because of a hand injury, according toi his manager Rick Hawkins, who is promoting the show.
