Lewis injured in 3rd quarter

Virginia Tech's Darren Evans scored on a 2-yard run to extend the lead to 27-3 with 10:39 left in the third. The bad news on the drive was that Kenny Lews Jr suffered a ruptured left Achilles, a serious injury that will likely end his season.

Tech had scored with one second left in the first half to extend the lead to 20-3. Macho Harris picked off a pass and returned it 49 yards to the WK 5, setting up a Dustin Keys 22-yard field goal.

Sean Glennon is going in at QB with less than nine minutes left in the third.
