Good luck, Paulus
So ex-Duke point guard Greg Paulus is thinking about becoming a college quarterback. The former national high school football player of the year says Michigan coach Rich Rodriguez has offered him a scholarship. He says he has also heard from other Division I-A schools. Now, Greg, when you get embarrassed on the basketball court, Deron Washington hurdles you for a layup. But when you get embarrassed as a QB, you will be the victim of painful sacks. And it's going to be tougher to score on the gridiron than it was for you at Cassell Coliseum when Kyle Singler caught the Hokies napping by throwing you an inbounds pass three-quarters of the way down the court. So, good luck, Greg. I have a feeling you're going to need it. -- Mark Berman

He was a fantastic high school football player! But he should play at the 1-AA level (Football Championship Subdivision) for a year.

Maybe he'll get an opportunity to be chanted upon in two sports by the same team!

Nelson he only has 1 year left of eligibility for any college sport so it's Division 1-A or nothing for him. He also actually had some talks with the Green Bay Packers and apparently two more NFL teams. But you are right, he was a pretty highly rated QB in high school. Berman get your head out of your Virginia Tech box and read a little about the subjects before you comment on them. Makes you look a like a little bit of A$$.

Greg Paulus sure is disliked for a guy who stayed in college all 4 years and is an academic All-American! LOL.
What do you think is really behind all of this? Few people seem to dislike Gerald Henderson of Duke!
It's because Paulus fakes charges, which all teams do? Well, Gerald Henderson seemed to intentionally break a player's nose. Which is worse?!
