Henderson new girls basketball coach at Blacksburg
Roger Henderson has been named the new girls basketball coach at Blacksburg High School.
Henderson previously served as boys head coach at Roanoke Catholic from 1993-1995 and one year as girls head coach at Giles in 2000. He was an assistant under Tony Dunford for four years with the Christiansburg boys program before coming to assist Mickey McGuigan with the girls team at Blacksburg.
Henderson replaces McGuigan, who stepped down after last season.
