The group of lawmakers that oversees electric utilities in Virginia does not want to fade away on July 1. Although the commonwealth's wild ride through deregulation is largely over, the Commission on Electric Utility Restructuring still has a valuable role to play in Richmond, just not in its current form.

Blaming Bush for the failure of SS reform even though Democrats blocked it.
Blaming Bush for lack of immigration reform even though he was in lockstep with the Democrats on it?
Blaming Bush for the economy that only started faltering once the Democrats took Congress.
Blaming Bush for not babysitting Congress this year and seeing to it they don't spend too much.
Blaming Bush for deficits caused largely by Clinton's negligence and inattention concerning the terrorist threat.
Blaming Bush for deficits even though he went along with massive programs in partnership with Democrats such as the Teddy Kennedy education bill and the AARP prescription drug bill.
And finally, I notice your editorial makes NO mention of the war at all. I guess that's the only way you can avoid giving Bush the credit for being right about Iraq while you liberals were wrong. (Only 37 casualties for Jan.)

Good article. Its obvious even to farm animals at this point that Bush has been a complete failure his entire life, unless you count taking care of himself and his buddies. Think about it - if you were given unlimited opporitunities and funds your entire life how hard would it be to meet or beat his track record.. who knows, if you really tried you might be able to do some good for the country in addition to setting yourself up quite nicely for retirement.
