A health care reform checkup
Six major health care organizations met today's deadline for giving President Obama details on how they propose to reduce the nation's health care spending - they estimate by $1 trillion to $1.75 trillion over 10 years. Shy of the $2 trillion Obama touted last month, but still a lot of money - and a good sign that the major players continue to be engaged in looking for ways to make health care reform happen.
