Evidently the principal's job must pay pretty good. Sge can afford lawyers and a PR firm.

The line has been drawn inthe sand.

Does the city need to contract a consultant on this?

If she were to leave now and get a job elsewhere before the stuff hits the fan, she would probably be ok. Just look at John Callipari.

OJ,

if the embarassment of a semen stained dress and the out and out lie told to the American public in front of the cameras (I did not have sex with that woman-Miss Lowinsky) combined with the overall knowledge that the oval office had been turned into the oral office couldn't shame Clinton into resigning, why would this liberal resign her post and make it easier for those involved?

only one thing is going to cause her the resign to save the embrassment. Hint- it has pictures of dead presidents on it.....

kristen, SOL's may not be the answer, but something has to be done to establish responsibility in the education process. I think you fire the people involve knowing that your action will be justified in the end. How can there not be an integrity clause or an ethics clause in a contract for a public school official? I mean, what if this was manipulation of grades or teachers taking the exams for students? where the heck is the line?

Catspaw...what "rights of the students" were violated...does that refer to their being denied the opportunity to take the SOL? Or having their schedules changed?

I wish my kids "right" to take the SOLs would get violated. I can't imagine a more absolutely pointless waste of time in schools than sitting for those tests. I actually think Xbox time is better spent.

BobH I think she can be fired, but to protect itself from liability I bet the school board is going to have to jump through 1 million hoops to show due diligence in establishing guilt on her ( and who knows who else's) parts. Judging from a piece printed recently by the RT, the "investigation" was not yet finished.

And we wonder what is wrong with the public educational system? It's really pretty simple, it is loaded with liberals and there is this 6 letter word that you never hear about with fixing it-tenure.

Name me one job where you employment is guaranteed after so many years on the job?

If the superintendent cannot replace principals as needed and for good cause, what do we need a superintendant for then?
