Glenvar students stake out a section of their own

Tiffany Gibson sends us these photos from Glenvar High. This Tuesday, September 30, part of Highlander Stadium's seating was painted gold--the first time in quite a while, according to a few current students, that there has been a designated cheer section for students.
In Friday's homecoming game, Glenvar plays Craig County. The game starts at 7:30 p.m. If you're there-or at any of the other homecoming festivities-taking photos, send them to us at news@sosalem.com, and we'll share them here on the notebook.
Salem's homecoming game is October 17 vs. Blacksburg.
