Salem girl crowned as Petite Miss Virginia
Salem's own Victoria Scarlett Ratliff was crowned "Petite Miss Virginia" this summer in Charlottesville. She is a 9-year-old 4th grader at East Salem Elementary and the daughter of Rodney and Stephanie Ratliff. Victoria competed with 15 other contestants in the the 8-9 year old age group in 4 events, gown, swimsuit, schoolwear with an on stage question, and talent. Victoria is a student of "Miss Mona's School of Dance and Performing Arts".
