Salem youths score well in punt, pass and kick competition
Rhonda Pollard sends us this information on three Salem youths who did well in the recent Punt, Pass and Kick Competition:
Just wanted to let you know that the Sectional Competition for PPK was this weekend in Covington and the 3 Salem representatives did fantastic. Davey Pollard, Mackenzie Edwards and Zach Wright all participated. Davey & Mackenzie came in first for each of their age groups and Zach finished second in his level. The 1st place winners’ scores will be compared with other sectional winners in our state and if the boys end up in the top 5 they will move on to the next competition which will is scheduled for November at Fed Ex field during the Skins/Giants game.
