Glenvar High student to participate in statewide competition in Salem
Arielle Rosmarino, a junior at Glenvar High School, is competing in the Virginia Junior Miss Scholarship Program, to be held at Salem High School at 2 p.m. Dec. 7.
Tickets can be bought at the door and are $15 for adults and $10 for students under 18.
17 contestants from around the state competing for a share of over $10,000 in cash scholarships plus many college sponsored scholarships. The girls are judged in 5 areas: Scholastics, Fitness, Talent, Self-Expressions & Interview. The winner will go to Mobile, Al for two weeks in June to compete for America's Junior Miss and a share of over $150,000 in cash scholarships.
