Forecast for tonight's Salem-Pulaski game

If you're going to tonight's playoff game between Salem and Pulaski, we have two words for you: Wind chill.

Or maybe two more: Long johns.

As cold as it is here in the Roanoke Valley, it'll be even colder down in the New River Valley. We asked weather journal Kevin Myatt what's in store tonight in Dublin at game time at 7:30 and here's what he had to say: "Temperature will be in the 20s, winds about 10 mph, so expect wind chills in the 10s. The snow will probably be over, but they've got 1-2 inches in that area today."

Pulaski County, by the way, is out of school today because of snow. So who does a cold, snowy field help? You can leave a comment below.

If you're planning to stay home, don't worry -- we're planning to have two photographers at the game and will be posting photos early Saturday (and when we say early, we mean like, well, just after midnight early.)

For more weather, see Kevin Myatt's Weather Journal.

For more on the Salem-Pulaski game, see what sportswriters Robert Anderson and Aaron McFarling have to say on this week's Varsity Cast.

We have two photo galleries from last week's Salem-Bassett game -- one from Marcus Yam of The Roanoke Times, and then one with 181 fan photos from Laura Tucker of Salem.
