Klub Kanine wins certification

Sara Scott, co-owner of Klub Kanine in Salem, Virginia has completed the certification program for pet care facility operators and has been awarded the designation of "Certified Kennel Operator" by the Pet Care Services Association.Sara Scott has successfully completed the CKO program designed to raise professional standards and improve the practice of animal care and business management within the pet care industry. By achieving this significant milestone, Sara Scott has received the highest level of competence and commitment award within the industry.

The Pet Care Services Association has only granted approximately 200 CKO awards nationwide. PCSA encourages its 3000 members to enhance their knowledge and skills through educational programs, regional meetings, seminars, and conventions. Once awarded, CKOs maintain their designation by participating in an ongoing continuing education program.
