Talented stars at East Salem Elementary shine
Nearly 50 singers and dancers, piano and recorder players, and even soccer stars showed off their talent at East Salem Elementary's tenth annual talent show, "Night of Stars: Talent Explosion." There was nary a parking spot when 7 p.m. rolled around, because lots of parents, friends, and siblings came out to see the performers.
Even the Hokie Bird made an appearance when Maggie Crute, Evyn Magenbauer, and Grace Barnett danced to the "Hokie Pokie." While no winners were declared, the audience became loudly applauding fans of every performer.
