Tammy Johnson wins National College Student Merit Award

National College student Tammy Johnson of Roanoke has been awarded a $750 Student Merit Award. Johnson is attending the Roanoke Valley campus of National College in the paralegal degree program.
The Student Merit Award is awarded to full-time students who have completed their first year of studies at National College and achieved above-average academic performance. The award is one of several scholarships funded by National College that recognizes academic excellence. Students at every level, including those entering National College for the first time, are eligible to receive scholarships worth from $750 to $2,000 per academic year based on their academic performance. The college has allocated more than $3 million annually for such scholarship aid.
