Touch-a-Truck...Wheels, Wings and Water!

ROANOKE COUNTY, VA., July 25-Come join us for the first ever Touch-a-Truck
event where kids of all ages can climb, touch and explore! On Saturday, July 25 from
10:00AM to 4:00PM this free community event will allow kids and adults the opportunity
to see, touch, interact with and learn about over 100 cool vehicles. From fire trucks to
motorcycles, cement trucks to police cars, UPS trucks to garbage trucks and airplanes as
well.
How often does anyone get to look inside, sit inside, climb all over and perhaps even
"operate" any of these unusual vehicles and get to talk to someone who operates them?
Additional favorite activities will include Firemen's Foam, water spray, balloon sculptures,
craft activities, food vendors and other special attractions which will help to add to the
event's appeal. Cameras are highly recommended.
You will be able to "touch" and admire over 100 different vehicles! Never before has such
an array ever been assembled in this region. Fire trucks, Garbage Trucks, Back Hoes,
Bobcats, Bucket Trucks, Cranes, Motorcycles, Helicopters, Front End Loaders, School
Buses, Tow Trucks, Humvees, Cement Mixers, Cherry Pickers, Race Cars, Tractors, Dump
Trucks, Ambulances, Military Vehicles, S.W.A.T. & Police Cars, a Tucker Sno-Cat,
Armored Trucks, Tractor Trailers, a Knuckle Boom Truck, miniature Radio Flyer airplanes
and many more.
