Sweet news for Dunkin Donuts fans

Attention Dunkin Donuts fans.The Roanoke Valley is on this doughnut chain’s list of expansion plans in the next three to five years. There’s already one Dunkin Donuts in Roanoke on Franklin Road, but the retailer said it’s seeking more franchise sites.

  1. Hold on, folks! It's continuation of the northern invasion of the south!!!

    But really, these guys beat Starbucks to the "ridiculous placement" punch. I made some trips to the New England area back in 2000-2001, and the DD stores are all over the place. I remember two being on opposite sides of the road not more than a block from each other. I guess you stop at one on the way to work and one on the way home. :)

  2. And meanwhile, our dilapadated Krispy Kreme rots away. Too bad we don't have a nice one like Winston Salem and Greensboro has.

  3. I'd much rather hear that Krispy Kreme was building a new store in a better location. That place is a disgrace.
